Hi, my name is Jacqui Crouch I’m 64 and married to Dennis.
I am an Australian Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.
We have four children. Sharon, a medical rep who is based in Brisbane, Aedita works for CSIRO and is mum to Tannikah and they also live in Brisbane. Joseph, a business banker lives with his partner, Anna, and daughters Zaliah and Ava in Maroochydore, and Tony is a mathematics teacher/computer guru and lives in Moree with his wife, Amber, who is a Music/English/Drama teacher, and their baby boy Xavier.
Dennis and I live in the magnificent Northern N.S.W. Tablelands town of Tenterfield. After 30 years of living in the Northern Rivers area of NSW, we have retired to a region which is a little less humid and where we can enjoy the four seasons of the year, distinctly. (My love for cooler climates is rather odd really as I grew up in Ballina on the Far North Coast (I was then Jacqui Vagne), loved to surf, play hockey and enjoyed lots of outdoors and sunshine).
We have three small dogs. Jillie, a brown/white Tenterfield terrier, who we rescued from the Casino pound and Monty a brindle coloured mini foxie cross who manages the household and keeps us all in line, and lastly Pickles. Pickles was found standing in the middle of the bridge at Captain’s Creek, which is between the villages of Mallanganee and Tabulam. Pickles is a purebred Dachshund. He is desexed, nails clipped and obviously missing his owner……….who was so totally neglectful and didn’t microchip him. We put up notices, had the police canvas the area and advertised on the radio. No one wanted Pickles. So he now belongs to us……..and yes he is now microchipped. Why did we call him Pickles???? Well, he was in one hell of a pickle when we found him, just on dusk, remote area and on a busy highway. He was in a pickle all right!!!!
This pic is of Dennis and I with two of our precious fur babies, Jilly and Monty.
I was a public servant for almost 40 years and for 29 years worked for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions however I’ve now retired and am enjoying being a grandmother. I just love creating something beautiful for friends and family and enjoy watching their faces when they open a card, tag or container that I’ve made especially for them.
