When a Kiwi Kiss leads to being Together Forever!

July 22, 2009

Mr and Mrs 006

I have always wished to travel to the ‘Land of the Long White Cloud’,  On hearing the National Anthem of NZ it persists on my mind.  Maybe I’m a Kiwi in Oz clothing!!!!!  Nah!  I love to see Oz beat NZ at Rugby.  The Bledisloe is in the bag I reckon!!!!!  However I do adore Kiwi Kiss cardstock.

I was in a bit of a creative slump this morning and really wanted to try using two of the in colours on something.  So as I do I went Slipcoast looking for inspiration.  I found a card that used this layout, so I decided to see if Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze suited.  I think they do!  I love this years in colours and promise myself to spend more time using them.

All products are Stampin’ Up! ® of course!

A Flower for everyone

July 14, 2009

all seasons 001

I was unable to attend the SU convention this year, however I was awarded this delightful stamp set for my sales achievements.  This set is called A Flower for All Seasons.  This is a set of four beautiful flower images and only $24.95.  Bargain!  As you can see from the set of four cards above this stamp set is very versatile and works brillantly with SU’s designer papers.  I really enjoyed using this stamp set and can see the huge potential it has for such a variety of cards.  Check out the images below!

A Christmas card from a non Christmas stamps set!

A Christmas card from a non Christmas stamps set!

Here I have used one of the images (which is a little bird alongside a  pot of pointsettia flowers.  By colouring them in Christmas colours and using Holiday Treasures designer paper they instantly become a gorgeous Christmas card.
The narrow cards are fantastic for those cards that need to be ‘mass produced’ (and don’t we all need that!)  You get four cards per 12 x 12 sheets and the designer paper goes further too.  This is an ideal way of producing a large numer of  Christmas cards and being able to use lovely embellishments, without breaking the budget.
Take a closer look at this little set, it really is a joy to use and I love the results.
Cheers and thanks for visiting!
