The very happy couple

The very happy couple

My scrapbooking adventures have now taken me to compiling an album for Tony and Amber of their wedding, last January.  These two picutres were done in black and white and were just perfect on Stampin’Up! Urban Oasis paper.  This paper really depicted the scene and mood of the wedding, which was held at the Como Pleasure Grounds in Sydney.  I must apologise for photography yet again.  W

......and they lived happily ever after!
……and they lived happily ever after!

This double layout brought lots of attention when I displayed it at the Casino Beef Week art/craft show.  Funnily enough I’ve not done that much.  I simply allowed the paper to do the work and then teamed it with some beautiful ‘fairy-tale’ stamped sayings.

Why hadn’t I done this scrapbooking thing before????  Stampin’Up! make it sooooooooooooo easy.

Folded designer paper
Folded designer paper

Another  item from my Beef Week display.

My good stampin’ buddy, Dianne P, showed me this tri-folded card.  It’s a piece of designer paper cut to A4 size, folded and the outer pieces have been punched with the Eyelet punch for a ‘dainty’ look.  The back card (with the hemp twine) is a book mark, the centre card is the greeting card and the tiny folder in the front is for either wee photographs or quotes.

It’s the perfect card if you are giving a book as a gift (which our family does a lot!)

All products are Stampin’Up! – of course!

Stamp Set – Together Forever (yes again!)

Technique – pen to rubber.

Pens – Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss

Cardstock – Not Quite Navy,  Sahara Sand and Whisper White

Designer Paper – Bella Bleu

Punchs – Eyelet  and Square Scallop

This is a very ‘different’ take on a tri-fold card.   Enjoy!

Christmas workshop items

Christmas workshop items

At my stand that I recently had at the Casino Beef Week Art/Craft show there was lots of interest in my Christmas Workshop items.  These two are just the first that I’ll be posting here, so if you see something that you like and want to attend a class please phone me for details.  Christmas container workshops are such fun and if you wish to get a party of six people I can do a ‘special price’.

The first items here is a wee book that is perfect to give at Christmas.  It has small pockets and tags that you can either place a photograph on or a sentiment.  Just gorgeous!

The second item is an oldie but a favourite.  It’s a ring-pull can that you fill from the bottom.  Decorate, then we seal the bottom of the can so that recipient gets to pull the ring-pull.  I used these last Chrissy to give my kids tickets to the Outback Spectacular on the Gold Coast.  Everyone loved them!

Also, either of these items can be made in non-Chrissy papers if you’d just like to create something for a special some-one.

All products are Stampin’Up!, of course!

DSP – Holiday Treasures

Cardstock – Chocolate chip

Ribbon – Old Olive grosgrain. linen thread

Stamp Set – Best Yet

Punches – Round scallop, both tags, various circles

I’ll be back later in the week with more so be sure to come back and visit me again.

Cheers!
