You only live once
I love roses (have I said that before?) and this set from the new Stampin’Up! catalogue called Fifth Avenue Floral has the nicest rose that I’ve seen for some time.
I saw this card on Splitcoast and had to give it a shot with my own ‘twist’. I really hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it. I think this set has great possibilities for the scrap-bookers as well. Fifth Avenue Floral is a set of five stamp for just $45.95. I see endless possibilities for this set.
Stamp set - Fifth Avenue Floral
Cardstock – Passion Pink, So Saffron, Watercolour paper
DS – Urban Oasis
Inks – Pink Passion, Piroutte Pink, Rose Red, Certainly Celery and Old Olive, So Saffron, More Mustard and Pumpkin Pie
Technique – Embossing with white powder
Ribbon – sorry these are both retired. Old olive and gold taffeta.
There was a bit of work in this one, but hey! I think the result was worth it.
Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think.
Just gorgeous!!!
Love this Jacqui. Really different take on 5AF!
What a pretty card!
Wow! This would have to be one of my favourite cards I have seen in a long time. I just love it alot. Well done Jacqui x
Looks fabbo Jacqui – have just been playing with this technique yesterday too – what fun!
I agree about the 5AF being a great set – its the set that has gotten me stamping again after none for about 6 months – and now I can’t put it down! I even designed a scrap page around it too – and the girls at the class loved it. Will be posting pics soon (once I can work out my blog again *blush*)
