Don't you just love romantic proposals?

Don't you just love romantic proposals?

A gorgeous young customer of mine, Joy, has just accepted her man’s (Luke) proposal of marriage.  Joy was so ‘over the moon’ as she waved a diamond under my nose! so I created this card for the happy  couple.  Oh! the proposal?  Luke and Joy love fishing and had just purchased a new tinny.  So one balmy afternoon on the Evans River Luke went on bended knee and offered a proposal to Joy.  Shame they hadn’t chosen a flat bottom boat because apparently in the exuberance of the moment the couple almost ended up in the drink!  I wish you a long and happy life together Joy and Luke.

Stamp Set – Together Forever (I’m really enjoying this set)

Cardstock – Whisper White and Not Quite Navy

DSP – Bella Bleu (run through the cuttlebug)

Inks – Not Quite Navy, Going Grey, Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss

Technique – Pen to Rubber

milk carton 002milk carton 001

Today I had a group of six ladies who did their first Christmas stamp-a-stack, so I thought I should begin to put together my Christmas Container workshops.

These gorgeous mini-milkcartons and carrier make a very different gift to pop under your tree this year.  They can be filled with sweets, hair accessories or,  or,  or,  or…………….dare I suggest?????  DIAMONDS.

I really enjoyed making this little beauty!  It’s so cute!

This class will book quickly so call me now for details on creating all types of Christmas containers.

All products used are Stampin’ Up!, of course!

Cardstock – Real Red, Yo Yo Yellow, Certainly Celery, Whistper White and Basic Black

Stamp Sets – Holiday Lineup, Season of Joy, Punches Three

Punches – Scallop and Circles (various), large Oval

Ribbon – Certainly Celery and Real Red Striped grosgrain

Fifth Avenue Floral

You only live once

You only live once

I love roses (have I said that before?) and this set from the new Stampin’Up! catalogue called Fifth Avenue Floral has the nicest rose that I’ve seen for some time.

I saw this card on Splitcoast and had to give it a shot with my own ‘twist’.  I really hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it.  I think this set has great possibilities for the scrap-bookers as well.  Fifth Avenue Floral is a set of five stamp for just $45.95.  I see endless possibilities for this set.

Stamp set -  Fifth Avenue Floral

Cardstock – Passion Pink, So Saffron, Watercolour paper

DS – Urban Oasis

Inks – Pink Passion,  Piroutte Pink, Rose Red, Certainly Celery and Old Olive, So Saffron, More Mustard and Pumpkin Pie

Technique – Embossing with white powder

Ribbon – sorry these are both retired.  Old olive and gold taffeta.

There was a bit of work in this one, but hey!  I think the result was worth it.

Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think.
