There’s no time like May to join Stampin’Up!

April 30, 2009

Start your own Stampin’ Up! Business for  $150.

One of the beauties of being a Stampin’Up! Demonstrator is that you can do as much or as little as you like.  This is an ideal business for a young mum at home, for someone like myself who is retired, or just someone who wants a decent discount on their stamping/scrapping supplies.

I became a demonstrator so that I could get a discount on my paper crafting.  Once I began to show my friends the terrific products, they purchased them.  I then realised that this is really quite a good business and lots and lots of fun to boot!!!!

So, in celebration of National Scrapbooking Month, join Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator for only $150 with our limited-time Scrapbooking Starter Kit. The Scrapbooking Starter Kit contains the following:

I love, love, love roses!

I love, love, love roses!

Oh my goodness!   I’ve completely fallen in love with the new SU catalogue and the amazing new products and stamp sets.

Couldn’t wait to try out this stamp set called Fifth Avenue Floral.  It has the most amazing floral outline images.  Perfect for watercolouring.  I teamed this image up with Close to Cocoa and Kiwi Kiss.  (sounds like a desert!!!) and then added the gorgeous new kiwi kiss and very vanilla double sided satin ribbon.  Yummoooooo!  I’ll be using much more of this.

Hope you like this  creation.  I cased the template from Splitcoast and added my own touches.  Stay tuned for lots more new stuff as the creative juices begin to flow…………………….and flow……………..and flow!

All products are Stampin’Up – of course!

Stamp Set – Fifth Avenue Floral

Cardstock – Whisper White, Close to Cocoa, Kiwi Kiss

Watercoloured with Pink Piroutte and Red Riding Hood

DSP – Kiwi Kiss

Rub on greeting

Punch - Eyelet Border

Ribbon – Very Vanilla/Kiwi Kiss double sided satin ribbon.

My very first attempt!

All you experienced scrappers will be laughing right now!

Those that know me, also know that I don’t scrap.  Well I’ve bent to pressure from my children and began to scrap the dreadful photos that I managed to take when they were babes.  This is my first attempt.  It’s not wonderful, but hey!  It’s a start and I’m quite enjoying it.

The photos aren’t good.  However, these three piccs show my gorgeous son Joe (who is now 30!) when he turned 2 in hospital with a broken tibia.  He was in a gallow traction for 6 weeks.  He’s not normally a patient person, but he was very patient during this hospitalization period and didn’t ever complain once.  Not once.  I’m so very proud of him then and now.

I’ve used lots of different products but the SU  I’ve used is the Loads of Love stamp set.  I love how SU stamp sets combined so beautifully with scrapping.  I also used the jumbo eyelets for the car wheels/tyres.

I hope you enjoy my first attempt, must away and see what else I can scrap.  There’s only four kids and 35 years worth to do!!!!!

Together forever

Together Forever Incolours

Together Forever Incolours

I truly love this stamp set.  Originally I purchased it to make the wedding cards for Tony and Amber, but I’ve found soooo many more uses for it.
This card features just one of the stamp from the set along with two of the new ‘in colours’ featured in this year’s Stampin’Up! catty.
I hope you like this card – I’m actually anxiously awaiting my time to be the Easter Bunny.  I’m hoping that Tannikah goes to sleep before I do!!!!!
Stamp Set – Together Forever
Card stock – Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy
Tecnique – ‘pen to rubber’
Punchs  – Word window and 1/2″ circle
Brads – Not quite Navy
I do hope that you all have a very blessed, safe and happy Easter doing whatever it is that makes you happy !
Cheers!
